My Background: I self-taught myself how to make no-sew tie-blankets when I was 13 years old. After that, I began venturing out to pillows, cat beds and dog beds. I also enjoy doing diamond art and perler beads, but no-sew tying has always been my favorite!

Why I Craft: I craft because I struggle with high anxiety, and it allows me to slow down and take deep breaths as I work through each project. When I am fabric shopping, I automatically begin imagining them as pillows or blankets to get an idea of what pattern would look best. Sometimes it is difficult to narrow down my choices, but it helps me with decision making as I come to my final decision. Tying can be very forgiving if I make a mistake, and it helps me with problem solving as I learn through those mistakes. The best part is seeing the final product, and sharing my art with others. Seeing people light up from my creations brings me so much joy!

I Find Joy From: I find joy from horseback riding, being at the barn, crafting, animals, or relaxing with a YouTube video teaching me something new.
